Beginner Quilting Made Easy!

By Gloria Massard

Hi, I'm Gloria Massard, and I know what it feels like to be a beginner quilter. When I first started quilting, I often felt overwhelmed by all the tools, techniques and choices.

Believe me, I knew absolutely nothing about making a quilt. But, with a lot of determination and a whole lot of practice, I managed to make a small wall hanging.

Once I conquered those first lessons, I was able to move onto bigger, more challenging projects. And, I want that for you, too. That's why I created this site. I want to take you by the hand and show you the ropes. It's easier than you think!

Sure, there's plenty of other sites offering to teach you the basics. So, what makes my site different? I've worked with beginning quilters like you for a long time now.

And, I've discovered that if I break down the basic steps into smaller, more manageable steps, it makes the learning process much faster and easier. The beauty of this method is that you'll experience confidence and success right away.

Go Big Electric Fabric Cutter at

In my free beginner quilting basics course, you'll learn about quilting supplies, fabric, rotary cutting, and a lot more! I recommend taking your time with each chapter. You might even want to jot down a few notes. You can also bookmark pages that you'll want to refer back to later on.

Each succeeding chapter builds on the previous lesson, so it's a good idea to go through the course in the order presented. Once you master the quilting basics, you'll be ready to sew your own beautiful quilt!

If this course benefits you in any way, or if you have any ideas or suggestions, please let me know. In this way, I can continue to improve my website, making it a comfortable, friendly and educational place for beginners to learn the craft. So, take a deep breath and get ready to have a lot of fun. I hope my beginner quilting site inspires you to become hopelessly addicted to quilting!  Have fun!
