Birthing a Quilt
by: mary

Hello! I understand the basic idea of birthing a quilt, but do you do any quilting after sewing the layers together? I've made a baby quilt and would like to finish it this way but I am not sure how to proceed after birthing it. Thanks for any help given.

ANSWER

Yes, you can and should quilt the layers together. You can stitch in the ditch or try your hand at an allover stitch. Just remember to lock your stitches at the end of each seam. Have fun!
