Converting Twin Directions to Queen Directions

The pattern I have is for a twin size quilt and I want to make it a queen size. How do I convert the yardage needed for a queen size.

ANSWER

Since I don't know what pattern you're using, I can't give you a definite answer. The starting size of your quilt pieces determines how much you'll need to enlarge them. That can be tricky.

I highly recommend using a Quilter's FabriCalc. This is a calculator for quilters. You can figure fabric yardage, how large to cut your pieces and so much more. I own one, and I couldn't imagine quilting without it.
