Darning Foot

I am trying to attach my darning foot, but it will not stay in place. I followed the directions carefully. It seems to spring off. It is a brother XL 3510. Can you help me? Thank you.

Joanne, I suggest you take your darning foot to your local sewing or quilting store. Ask them to show you how to attach it to your particular machine.

I suggest this for two reasons:

There might be a problem with your darning foot.
It's easier to learn when it's demonstrated.
