Hand Tied Quilt

Okay, I'm an absolute beginner. My husband's family has a tradition of using yarn to bind all of the layers of the quilt together instead of sewing a pattern onto the quilt. Do you have any hints for this? ANSWER Currently, I don't offer hand tied quilt lessons. But, I did some research on this topic. Here's a couple websites that should be helpful.
