Do you want to learn to quilt? I'm here with free quilt patterns and all the quilting instructions you'll need to make your very first quilt!
Beginners love my quilting lessons because they're easy to follow, and they include many graphics. Now it's your turn.
Let me walk you through each lesson, step by step. No guesswork here. Remember, even the professionals had to start at the beginning. So, relax. You can do this.
Start with a Small Sampler Quilt
For beginner quilting, I recommend starting with a small sampler quilt. Smaller quilts are faster to sew, and you'll see results sooner. This builds confidence and keeps you interested in your project.
Smaller quilts also give you the opportunity to try new designs and techniques without committing to a large, time-consuming project.
My free quilt patterns include six quilt blocks (arranged in order of increasing challenge). They're perfect for learning many techniques in a short amount of time.
Quilting Basics First
Please read through the quilting basics first. Then start using your free quilt patterns. As you advance through the beginning quilting lessons, you'll see an increase in your skills and confidence.
Finishing Touches
Once you sew your blocks together, I'll guide you through the finishing touches. This includes quilt borders, quilt basting and quilt binding. As a crowning touch, you'll create a personalized quilt label. Then your masterpiece will be ready to show off to family and friends!
I hope my free quilt patterns inspire you to
become addicted to quilting.
