My First Masterpiece

I have always wanted to learn to quilt, but never knew quite where to begin. I came across your site and thought I would give it a try. My quilt was pieced and quilted entirely by hand.

I'm sure my quilting stitches are not perfect and not all my seams line up perfectly, but nonetheless, I have completed my first project! It was quite enjoyable and relaxing.

I will be giving this quilt to my niece, who was just born in March. And I am already planning my next project, a twin quilt for my 10 yr. old son who was quite impressed with my sampler quilt.

Wonderful colors

Very nice looking sampler, as for the seams not lining up I call that personallity. Each quilt you will make, you will always find some small flaw, be it seams, pattern not quite right, whatever...to me these are the love & personallity of the quilt. Keep up the good work.
