Novice quilter.....

My grandmother quilted for many years. She started when she was about nine or ten. She was born in 1914, so that's part of the reason. My mom really doesn't like to sew at all, but I did.

I saw a quilting book and I paged through it. I was thinking, "I can do this." I finally finished the quilt, which has no design whatsoever. But this site helped me a bit. I'm happy to say I have a huge shelf of quilting books now, and plan to make many more!
