I have just started paper piecing and am doing 1 inch hexagons, I have a template I cut out of a thin plastic cutting board (from the dollar store) and I trace them onto brown paper grocery bags (I am all about recycling) it is the perfect weight and I actually love tracing and cutting while I watch TV.
I have been cutting the hexagons from a jelly roll of bricks, I can get 2 hex per brick. I take it everywhere and work on it. I can't wait to get them all done so I can decide on my placement of them.
