I had that problem too. I just added a few pieces at a time to other laundry loads. It still frayed a little, but not bad at all.

I clipped the corners of my fabric and it still frayed. I just figured it did not fray as much as it would have without the clipping. However, I will be trying some of the other tips listed on my next project.
