I started by using 3 fabrics white red and black. I cut 7 inch strips to make my nine patch with the red in the center. They made 21 inch squares so where much larger and went fast to make a fair size lap quilt.

This looks to be a fantastic way to use up those leftovers from other projects. I think I've just found how I'll use that special material given to me by my Grandma. Thanks!!
