Quilt Edging

by Pat
(Boston, Mass.)

I am using 1" edging for my quilt (store bought). I have ripped it out at least 6 times because it keeps becoming what I describe as twisted as I sew. How do I overcome this or remedy this? Thank you.

ANSWER

I assume you're referring to quilt binding? If so, use pins to hold binding in place. Remove pins before the needle reaches them. I wish you success in applying your quilt binding.
