Sewing Diamonds Perfectly

by Doris Brazelton
(Chattanooga, TN USA)

Please give me a "tip" or "rule" to use when sewing diamonds together when making a star block. I have had to rip out the seam numerous times to get it to come out right, and I know there must be an easier way. Help.

You have really inspired me to become a good quilter. Thanks so much for your website.

ANSWER

Hi, Doris! I remember you from awhile back. You had sent me a wonderful email. I'm glad to know you're still quilting! Good for you!

At the moment, I don't have a chapter written about sewing diamonds together. But I did find a site that shows you an easy way to do it. Here's the link to the diamond construction page.

Have fun making your star block! Thanks for sharing your question.
