Sewing Quilted Blocks Together

by Susie McIntosh
(Tustin, CA)

Hello. I've just made 12 blocks and have already quilted each one separately, using batting and muslin. What's the best way to sew these blocks together to create my quilt top? Thank you.

ANSWER

When you sew quilted blocks together, it's called "quilt-as-you-go" or "divide and conquer." It's quick and easy to do.

In the video below, you'll see exactly how to accomplish this task. You might want to fast forward the clip toward the ending. That's where she actually shows you how to sew your quilted blocks together.

Also, here's a link to the book mentioned in the video, and another book that I highly recommend.
