Triangle Points

I know how to put two squares together, draw a diagonal line from point to point, then two lines down each side 1/4", then sew the lines and finally cut the diagonal line.
Now I have two perfect squares. I overlap 1/4", a seam allowance forms, and I sew to eventually make a strip. Problem is the other side of the squares pointed triangles have no seam allowance. I have tried everything. How do you make both sides with points intact to sew on to a quilt?
ANSWERI understand what you're trying convey, up to the point where you say there's no seam allowances on the triangle points. If you cut your half square triangles accurately, you should have seam allowances.
I created a graphic below. Are you referring to the triangle points inside the red circles? Do your half square triangles look just like the graphic? Also, what block are you trying to sew? With this information, I'm better equipped to answer your question.
